Ariane Serine, comedy writer, journalist and huge Duran Duran fan is known in humanist circles for the atheist bus campaign, “There is probably no god. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life.”
She talked to us about the abuse she received about this campaign, the effect on her mental health and her subsequent recovery from this.
It was very interesting to hear Ariane’s story, which led to a very lively question and answer session.
It was also good to see a lot of new faces, a brilliant way to kick off our programme of talks for the year.
